Trenary Wood Products was founded in 1989 and is owned and operated by Steve and Sharon Boyer of Rapid River, Michigan. The business was purchased from Sharon’s father, Eugene Holmquist, in 1998.

The acquisition also included Holmquist Feedmill, Inc., which Mr. Holmquist had owned and operated since 1953. This package holds a real family tradition. Holmquist Feedmill, Inc. and Trenary Wood Products have nine full-time and one part-time employee.

Our shingles have been sold in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Indiana, and Illinois.  All white cedar used to make shingles is purchased in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.  Shipping and delivery are available.
